We had a wonderful experience with Sunway tours. Phyllis was wonderful getting everything planned and scheduled. Mr. Les was our driver. He was so considerate, helpful and friendly. He really took pride in his job. He was so helpful to the older guests, even when we were not on the bus. He drove the charter bus to and from the wedding venue for my son and daughter-in-law’s wedding. He went above and beyond trying to take care of everyone. He definitely provided a wonderful experience for our special day. I have heard many comments from our wedding guest and family about what a helpful and considerate driver we had. Phyllis at Sunway greatly helped me coordinate a shuttle for our out-of-town guests from the hotel to our rehearsal venue. Les, the driver, also an obvious professional not only drove our guests safely but made it a fun experience. Everyone told us that he acted as a tour guide and gave a brief history of Charlotte and pointed out some landmarks along the way.

Brittany was extremely professional and timely in working out the logistics of our trip. The booking was last minute, but Brittany ensured all aspects of planning was taken care of to ensure a smooth trip.

Joey (JD) was very prompt, reaching out days before our actual trip- introducing himself, providing staging details and contact info. On the day of the trip, JD was on time (at least 30 minutes before departure) and was flexible to minor changes. The trip ran smoothly.

We had a tour bus (full of people) with a mechanical issue in the Outer Banks last week. I had to find a bus to rescue the group, get to Myrtle Beach and provide local services until our coach could be repaired. This was a weekend-in April-in the Carolinas-did I mention it was EASTER??? John at Sunways turned himself inside out to brainstorm with me and he was able to pull that Easter bunny out of a hat. He managed to find a bus and a driver, and work out the schedule so that within a couple of hours help was on the road. The tour group was VERY happy with Mr. Ivan Martinez, the replacement driver (Thank you!!) and all ended well. I can’t thank you enough for your help, compassion and creativity! It is nice to do business with another operator that cares about customers-even when they started as someone else’s. You are my HEROES!!

We were on a bus tour when our chartered bus had an equipment malfunction and we were without a/c with 7 days left in our southern coastal tour.

Sunway Charters was able to find us a bus and driver on short notice. We were pleasantly greeted by our temporary driver Ivan M.

Ivan was both a skilled driver and very personable. We enjoyed our day with him very much.
